As the year end draws on I would like to thank all of you who encourage and support me. I love making felt and it is most heartening when others respond to it. My name is Lynn Ramsbottom and I am a textile artist and feltmaker. On this site you will find information about my own and other people's hand made felt and explanations and instructions about how to make wet and dry felt, how to dye the fibres and there are some items for sale in my shop.
Everything I make is unique I can't make the same thing twice and I don't even want to. Feltmaking is a journey you can start in a single afternoon by learning the basics and then the journey unfolds to last a lifetime whilst you explore the endless possibilities.
